Jack Moorehouse isn't a professional golfer. He's an ordinary working man like you or me.
I was sceptical at first whether or not his methods would work. How can someone who doesn't play at an especially high level himself teach us how to improve our game? After all, there's no more difficult or frustrating sport to learn - and that ball isn't much bigger than a small tomato! That's why we all love the moments when we are playing well. We know then that we have conquered the most difficult game of all!
My other doubt was that he could improve anyone's game; whatever their ability. Surely some of us are no hopers! Surely he couldn't improve my game too.
I'm passionate about golf but I wouldn't call myself good; nor would anyone else. I had never broken 80 and I had never known where the ball would go when I swung at it! All I wanted from this course was to gain some confidence and consistency and to start to improve so that I could hold my head up and feel that I was getting better - I wasn't disappointed.

The other interesting aspect of Jack's approach is that it doesn't require a lot of practicing. I love golf and I try to play every week but I've a busy work and family life too.
His methods started to work for me partly because he gave me confidence. He made me believe that I could be successful and even break 80. And that's exactly what I did. Believe me, the game is even more fun in the 70s.
And when you lower your handicap, you feel like a better person. You enjoy life more both on the golf course and in your daily life. If you can improve your handicap, what else can you improve too?

How did he do this for me? To tell you the truth, I'm not quite sure! But he explains things simply and shows us how to make the improvement a part of our game through drills. One of my friends thought that I had paid for one-to-one coaching!
I've let him go on believing this for the moment. After all, knowledge is everything and why should I let him know how I've improved my game!
